Makashi

Form II

This form emphasises precision and thus works towards exploiting the ungainliness, or, in fact, any unnecessary movement, of the opponent. Djem So has a tendency to kineticly overwhelm its defences, but it is still the only form that allows one to remove both their opponents elbows with a single flick of the wrist.

Form I

The basic lightsaber form. This is a prerequisite to all the other forms. It is fairly plain with a balanced emphasis on the aggressive and defencive and a moderate threat radius, but it is not ineffective if used well. The only consistent drawback to this form is that it only last about 30 seconds against Makashi.

Theoretically, Kit Fisto uses this form and I suspect that Ki-Adi-Mundi does as well.

Obsession of the Week

February 24th, 2008

Well, for the past couple days, instead of drawing mermaids and working out the social political/structure of the League of Umbrellas, I have been hard at work on a project that only I will really appreciate. But that’s all right; you should all be satisfied with the fact that I’m posting.

So, combining my fondness for Star Wars, categorizing, and runic, (and thus showing the dangers of doodleing in class) I have gone and made a sigil for each of the lightsaber forms and will be supplying them over the next week or so along with who uses what, or something like that just to put things in context those who don’t have this sort of thing memorized.
